Vahine Fierro defeated Molly Picklum, Tatiana Weston-Webb and Brisa Hennessy on her way to a Victory in the Shiseido Tahiti Pro today in Epic conditions. Her Semi-finals heat with Tatiana Weston-Webb is being called one of the greatest heats of all time with Vahine breaking a board in the first few minutes and then mounting a comeback after Weston-Webb scored a 10 point ride. Vahine came back with an 9.63 in the final minutes of the heat. The wave spit her into the channel to cheers from the boats and made her the first Tahitian wildcard to win at Teahupoo.
